I put off finishing this because this has been with me ever since I was still a teenager omg… I feel so empty now after finishing this. It’s the best thing I’ve encountered over my years of BL and what now? :(
Even though I wish for some things to be different, it’s still perfect to me. I love the conclusion of Hwan’s existence and how they dealt with 704 finally being redeemed. Him being the new northern king seems like a doubled edged sword to me though. the northern side always had this conflict going on with Yama I believe haha but I hate how yoonwi ALWAYS has to carry such burden. Bleeshin casually dropping the fact that 704 indeed never felt like he could lean on someone, even as yoonwi, IS ACTUALLY FUCKING EVIL :((( i guess geumsun is there for him now but is there any info on mortality/ lifespan of goblins and kings?
Anw reincarnation wasn’t an option I would have liked as well :( I’m glad they stayed in a timeline. San and Eunjae will eventually die first though so let’s not talk about that otherwise I will die from depression
Eunjae and 704 still being separated is one of the biggest flaws in this story for me personally. I hate that haha BUT I understand why. The lotus flower on the scarf is the same as his goblin mask and the headband yoonwi used to wear back in the past too:( like I get that they are still connected that way but damn. Thinking that everything just happened between these two… it feels kinda heartless and empty to me.
San and Eunjae are sadly just collateral ngl. Eunjae being a pseudo MC while still being somewhat important to the plot makes me kinda sad because I still love San and Eunjae so so much and I wish there was more to them. But sadly It’s just not the plot for these two.
Also minus points for Yama and dongbaek not being the third couple because omg wasted potential hello?? I’m JK but still I need more of Yama !!! He’s my favourite character hahaha
I hope there will be side stories cuz this can’t be the end and last of this :( I feel so sad with this ending and I regret having finished this because now because my soul has ended with this story bye
