Well, there's a moment on the way where they separate, and for a moment, because the gluttons are chasing them, Taebaek thinks he's lost Shinhoo forever because Shinhoo used himself as a distraction/bait so Taebaek could cross the bridge. They arrive in Mokpo, but in the city, not the port, and realize there are no soldiers, only a shelter. There they meet Taebaek's father, but he's a scoundrel. They then learn that helicopters are arriving to drop off supplies or transport citizens, but they don't want to wait around, so they devise a plan. However, the person in charge convinces them to stay and help to let the helicopter take the children and the elderly first, so they decide to stay and help. They put their plan into action. As I understand it, they wore suits smeared with zombie blood and walked in complete silence along the road before leaving as a group. Shinhoo gives Taebaek's father a gun. When they're almost there, Shinhoo gets distracted by Taebaek because Taebaek's father fires at them and is then eaten by zombies. While Shinhoo is distracted, he's bitten on the left shoulder by a zombie. Yes, friends, I almost dropped my phone while reading this and crying... (I forgot to mention the urgency to get there is because at one point it's announced over the radio that the bombing attack is being moved up because the port of Mokpo is saturated with zombies and there are no more soldiers to help)
But don't worry, it turns out that Shinhoo is immune after all. Taebaek does the impossible to get there with Shinhoo in his arms, even after Shinhoo knocks him unconscious with his weapon, to clear the way for as long as he's conscious so Taebaek can continue alone. Friends, Shinhoo left him his military collar as a birthday present—remember they're only 5 days apart They arrive in Mokpo port, and there the sisters he rescued help him, and he convinces the military that Shinhoo is immune to the virus. Of course, he threatens them with the classified documents he found in the military hospital. And yes, he was immune! Three days pass. Shinho receives transfusions from the man she rescued in the past with the sisters, and blood samples are also taken for vaccines. They are now on Jeju Island in an isolation room. Begin in the US after a month on Jeju Island. Taebaek and Shinhoo decide to move to America because Taebaek needs to rebuild his company and because he can offer Shinhoo a better life. This was part of the deal for him to live there. Everything goes well until Taebaek begins to experience post-traumatic stress. He has intense hallucinations about gluttons/zombies invading America and the whole thing starting over, including severe nightmares where he transforms into a glutton. The vaccines are also rejected due to racism, protests, and all sorts of other reasons for not getting vaccinated against the virus.
The virus does eventually break out in America But Shinhoo says it was provoked as a coup again. Because the military killed the zombies who washed ashore at the maritime borders. Immediately, then it is likely to say that someone brought some infected part of a glutton like a tooth and began to contaminate the American citizens, Shinhoo asks to vaccinate Taebaek with his own blood and then Taebaek was happy to have the same left ear red, of course Shinhoo and Taebaek were far from the epicenter and again they were prepared (they buy supplies, sweets and weapons).
