Just reached chapter 25 where ML sets up this cute and funny moment of getting one of the servants to brag about his abilities in front of the FL...so why did she think "is Evan thinking of me as his mother..."
The way I nearly got whiplash because where did that logic come from. I get not viewing him romantically, but mother??? Says who? She's a whole ass child who's living in a very sick and malnourished looking child's body. It would make sense if she thought "aw, he's opening up more/being more honest" or even "he trusts me"

I have no memory of why, but I knew that being physically intimate was something weird people did, and that the whole stork delivers babies was dumb but if you got married and held hands then BOOM there's a baby because child logic. Maaaaaaan this takes me back to when I was so damn pure.
