No i don't think so, kaoru made the comment that he prefers mahiro to hold him instead
I believe they are but they also stick to their preferences most of the time. Mahiro does bottom occasionally but because it’s harder on him physically (being smaller) they don’t do it often. And like you said, Kaoru prefers bottoming.
