Even though Nanjo consented, it was still a form of coercion. ask yourself this? Would Nanjo have accepted Mk request to have sex without any added condition? just a free form of consent. No right?
Also there's no way that Nanjo or that twink is worse than Mk. that's some delusional shit and lowkey kinda babying him. He betrayed an old friendship, went after the dude his bestfriend was fucking behind his bestfriend's back, coerced Nanjo (remember their first time), made an agreement w Nanjo to not sleep w Sunhwa but did it anyway, then finally the end of season and the humiliation. Dude's an unhinged POS.
And to answer your first statement, ofc dude will be pissed. Both the person he is currently engaging with went behind his back (figuratively and literally). The arrangement was made with the agreement that he would be the bottom between the two tops, not that he will be sidelined and kicked out of the arrangement that started because of him in the first place.
Now this is not to say that other characters are not bad, even Nanjo. All the characters in this arrangement have flaws of their own, but saying Mk is the least one or even Nanjo is worse than Mk is disingenuous. Also, Nanjo has every right to beat Mk after the shit he pulled.
Nah. I loved you Ted talk. You said exactly what I wanted to say but I couldn’t found words to express. Damn. I hate that nanjo beat pookie so much. Why the hell he didn't let pookie explain. My pookie is the only one suffering so much. Artist better give Nanjo's backstory soon. Or I will started resent nanjo.
I know he is not a pookie. But he is. It is what it is.
Not babying him love. But again, you talk or coercion. I did admit that it could've been coercion in how he stated it as it's true Nanjo wouldn't have had sex with him otherwise, but all of that was made possible BECAUSE NANJO decided to make decisions regarding Sunhwa and their sex life without asking Sunhwa. Had he simply communicated with Sunhwa about Mokyeon's proposition, then this would be a COMPLETELY different story. He chose not to communicate and he had EVERY POSSIBLE way to avoid that situation.
Also, I was not aware that their arrangement was purely having Sunhwa bottom since I don't remember seeing that in the story. Either way, I'm not saying Sunhwa has zero right to be mad about it, but his reaction at least to me feels off simply because I don't like him, and I find it it almost impossible for people in a threesome to not feel sexually attracted to the other parties.
And no, Nanjo did NOT have any right to beat up Mokyeon that badly. That was ASSAULT at it's finest degree and should've been properly dealt with. A slap would've been fine, even another lunch. But Nanjo went way too far regarding that. I'm not saying Mokyeon didn't deserve consequences, however he is getting consequences at that moment.
Yes Nanjo could have talked with the twink about Mk coercing him. In fact, Nanjo could have said no to Sunhwa's request as well and the story would not happen in the first place. It's pointless to talk about hypotheticals. With how the story is presented, Mk did in fact coerce Nanjo.
It all depends if people really feel attraction to others in a threesome. If it's a straight threesome then definitely not. If it's a gay threesome then maybe but that also depends on how open the tops or bottoms are. But that's not the issue at hand. The thing is both Nanjo and Mk went behind Sunhwa's back and had an affair. The threesome was an open agreement despite the motives and different interests of involved partners. Mk and Nanjo hid it from Sunhwa for a reason. He is right to be mad.
Also, Nanjo had every right to beat Mk up. It's so puritan and disingenuous take to get mad at one assault while the reason for Nanjo to reach that breaking point is Mk himself. Mk outing Nanjo infront of Sunhwa was a bad thing. No matter how much you hate Sunhwa, Nanjo did not want that and Mk selfishly decided to out Nanjo. In fact read this chapter again to see how delusional he sounded.
The coercion too. look at how it all began. Read their first time again and analyze the chapter from Nanjo's stand point. Everything Mk does is selfish. First he wanted to play with Nanjo. Slowly he started to like him so he started creating rift between Sunhwa and Nanjo while obsessing more and more over Nanjo. He kept on fucking Nanjo even when Nanjo was asleep in ch 20 or smt. Mk also dreamt of bloodily raping as he kept acting more and more unhinged. What Nanjo didn't want, why the agreement even started everything fell apart because of Mk. He had every right to beat Mk. It was a consequence long overdue.
I read a few tweets and I can see a little more about Sunhwa and Nanjo's standpoint. Again, I'm not saying he didn't deserve consequences, just that beating up Mk that badly was just too far. It's one thing if they traded punches but it was one-sided and brutal, and Nanjo left him there.
Also you said you don't want to mention hypotheticals because the story wouldn't exists otherwise, but I'm just saying, it's true that communication is a problem here. Mk is manipulative and quite unhinged in his ways yes, Sunhwa is also manipulative and his relationship with Nanjo is built on lies while Nanjo is easy to manipulate but also brutal. Again all three are adults who could've dealt with this situation differently.
I do agree Sunhwa has a little right to be mad. Ive never had a threesome nor really read stories where the threesome is a main point of the plot so I've never understood them properly. So thank you for explaining it to me.
Ultimately I think the main reasons I'm so off about it is because as a reader, this could've been resolved if everyone communicated truthfully and honestly, rather than go to violence. I hate violence of any kind unless it's in self defense. I don't believe violence should be used in any way as in some cases it can be permanent. Nanjo beat us Mk on his eye and if he did it even worse, his eye could've been permanently damaged. And in terms of communication, again, none of this would've happened if Mk hadn't gone behind the threesome agreement and proposed Nanjo, and if Nanjo has properly talked to Sunhwa.
I guess I just can't take Sunhwa seriously either about being mad they had an 'affair' since he also went and fucked Mokyeon behind Nanjo's back while they were dating. Him being mad just annoys me because of that same thing.

Sunhwa was the first fucking problem cuz why tf are you inviting someone to a threesome, then get mad when they have sex and then cause a fucking problem afterwards.
Nanjo, yes he didn't want to do that in front of Sunhwa but also even before it he agreed to have sex with Nanjo behind Sunhwa's back instead of, you know, TALKING to him like a proper partner instead of making decisions assuming what's right for him. ALSO YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BEAT UP MC THAT BAD YOU FUCKER, slap him? Fine, understandable . But violence is not something necessary and I really disapprove
MC is literally not that bad compared to the other two. I'm not gonna baby him and I'm not gonna use his past as an excuse for his behavior but not once (as far as I'm aware) has he done something shitty like that to anyone. He didn't rape Nanjo, because he did ASK and get consent and ultimately Nanjo should've talked to Sunhwa. I won't say MC didn't 'force him', but also he didn't really force him either because, again, Nanjo should've SPOKEN TO Sunhwa instead of making decisions behind his back. The only thing he did wrong was in the last chapters of the last season where he fucked Nanjo during the threesome (which I also don't know whether that was precedented or unprecedented). MC should've stopped when Nanjo asked.
Honestly biggest problem here is communication! I'm sure once we get Nanjo's backstory I'll be a little calmer about him but honestly biggest problem here is communication between the two parties in an actual RELATIONSHIP and boundaries.
My Ted talk has ended I just need to rant a little I dunno how I'm supposed to read this out
