I get that all the tragedy stems from the vile dad but what the stepmother did cannot be justified by her own trauma. The ml was 6 years old and a literal child when she started abusing him. She may be a victim but she is also a perpetrator and deserves all the punishment coming her way. The dad can just rot. If he just married ml's mum and faced the difficulties with courage then he woulndt have ruined three innocent lives (mum, step mum and ml)
