You're so right for this. The only good things are Hanan and the art style. I'm also disappointed with his sister, like, even tho she didn't know the extent of the atrocious deeds that man did, she didn't even try to hear her brother out. Why he would object to him living with them or why he seemed to dislike him. She is his only protector just as her brother will go to lengths to protect her
I understand shitty MLs but this one isn’t even making literary sense imo. Like wtf? It just seems really out of nowhere. It makes not just the ML, but the sister too in a way, look awful/unredeemable.
Like the kid literally saved the ML’s life and cooked for him. And his sister let this dangerous man into the home despite MC’s protests. And she knows what kind of person her little brother is (kind, will go the distance) and still let this man into the home where he can take advantage of her little brother.
The art style is so fun and fresh. I thought we were in for a treat. But so far this thing has only been going downhill.
I’m still going to read it though. I’m interested to see if the author keeps giving us a MC surrounded by selfish assholes.
