Mukyeong has lied so much to this man. He even acknowledges this himself. Even when they first set up the arrangement. He deceived Nanjo, “did I say this was an only time thing”. It’s sinister how he uses Nanjos concern for Sunhwa as an excuse to assault him. Then he says he humiliated Nanjo in front of Sunhwa (a person whom he did unfortunately have feelings for) because that’s what Nanjo wanted? Of course Nanjo would react like that. Oh I definitely agree that Mukyeong is a manipulator but I feel like Nanjo should also be accountable for some of the things that played out, like he could have told Mukyeong that he was not going to sleep with him or he could have declined the threesome arrangement all together. After seeing how he beat up Mukyeong, he knows how to hold his own physically
To me Nanjo is not this innocent bystander, I personally feel like no one in this story is “in the right” or “innocent” but after seeing Mukyeong’s backstory it does give me insight on why he was so desperate to hold onto Nanjo - but that does not make what he did okay.
Unpopular opinion but Nanjo had no right to hit Mokyeong, yell at him sure but Nanjo was very much into it and honestly he didn’t have to agree to the arrangement but he was that obsessed with Sunhwa and thinking Sunhwa is this innocent angel that has to be saved. Like he needs to take accountability and realize that he is at fault too. As for Sunhwa I think he is overreacting because he was sleeping around with other people while also seeing Nanjo, bragging about using Nanjo for his money, and the threesome was HIS idea with 2 other guys….like why wouldn’t they also be fucking each other. So the only explanation is that he’s just upset he wasn’t the center of attention in the bedroom
