Basically MC is an ex-idol and one of his old members had drug/alcohol problems and that same person ended up forcing a drug(the same drug the ML is tracking down) on MC, years later MC meets ML and ML tries figuring out how to relieve the side effects from the drug MC took years prior, wanting to make him enjoy life again

I think it's also kinda hinted that ml may be hiding his identity a lil bit?he was into the drug thing before he even knew what the mc went through and he's affiliated with the doctor and that really got friend of his,the club owner girl and him also we're like willingly luring this drug out through their club adjustments
