Many people keeps saying if they wanted the story to go this way, the author should've just create a different story to begin with.... I agree somewhat. But I think it would have been better or it would make for sense if the author could have add a few chapters in the previous season to show grandfather's interference from time to time and teasung mom confronting him for it or either teasung dad meeting him, like if they showed atleast that they meet even if they don't elaborate about it then it make sense that when he get the chance to break them up he took it.
