Ive done reading the novel before, but if i remember it right, the bio parentsnof penelope are dead, and shes the last descendant of ancient magician(?). Thats also the reason shes the only person who can defeat leila and not vinter.
The biodad on earth, is the dad shown in the memories. And in the side stories, her soul will travel to earth, and calisto and their daughter was super anxious what if she will not return.
Bu she returned and finally let her other body rest on earth, since the other body was in a vegetable state in a hospital

i dont think so, only her sick body's fam is alive. but i think she finds out about her bloodline when she was studying archaeology as "penelope" i forgot its been 3-4 years since i read the novel in one go lmao
