What better way to raise MC’s BL flags than to use a red herring (high school boy hatano) and then make MC’s partner someone who can hear his thoughts and is actively looking for and failing to find the MC? This essentially makes his flag unavoidable because it’s invisible. Add in the fact that MC constantly unknowingly causes trouble for psychic-kun, that they’re peers who run in the same circle, and that they sometimes end up in weird situations together (for example Halloween party, rich fudanshi’s mountain villa, etc.) and there ya go. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
