Did they alter the ending? To be fair I did read the “novel” a couple of years ago and it was a rough translation but wasn’t she supposed to see what her family in the other world truly felt? Like they would get mad at her for sneaking to the kitchen to get food bc they wanted her to eat with them. Then when she was bullied they beat up the ones that did that to her. Also how she ended up living in that horrible basement but her brother got her that place so she would return home and not want to move out again. Tbh all those excuses made me mad bc of how ridiculous they were but I was looking forward to Penelope choosing Callisto over that family lol
