as someone who is incredibly picky with what I read, this story is an absolute gem. it gives a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the actual realities of poverty in a transmigration story, which is so rare. I usually read manhwas where the characters are instantly blessed—either they are already high-ranking nobles, wealthy merchants, poor but not too much, or a long-lost daughter who gets rescued by a rich family. this story doesn't gloss over the struggle. the hardship feels real, deeply detailed, and visceral. it is a slow, realistic journey rather than a quick, effortless rags-to-riches fantasy. i also love the emotional core of the novel where the male lead's dedication to his wife and daughter is beautifully written, and his detailed internal monologues make his love feel completely cute. overall, it is a solid 9/10 for me (a minus bcuz the artstyle is struggling on sum parts).
