I think Nanjo is conflicted because he wants to be in love with Sunhwa, but deep down he’s actually attracted to Mok, especially since they’re incredibly compatible on a physical level. The manipulative way Mok behaves isn’t what Nanjo considers ideal, because he’s drawn to people who seem innocent—just like Sunhwa made him believe he was. Poor Mok has serious psychological issues caused by being abandoned by not just one, but two families. It’s a really difficult situation, but I’m sure they’ll find their way back to each other. Nanjo is a good person; he just needs to realize that Mok isn’t the monster he’s convinced himself he is, and that Sunhwa isn’t the sweet, innocent angel he thinks he is—he’s actually a little viper.
