That asshat MAY just be Cliff....he looks kinda like him. And the behavior and mannerisms doesn't exactly make sense, his "true" form may just be cliff. It's just speculation, Butt maybe Cliff took the form of Nergal since he leaves wayyyyy before leon finds the group. Maybe Cliff has had time to settle down and assert some kinda leadership before he meets Leon again, I also don't think that the dragon of Cliff would have been in the cave either anymore, and even if they wanted to repopulate maybe try to make the now powerless man feel some semblance of comfort instead of scaring him to near death raping him multiple times and then expect him not to retaliate, but i digress. With the Cliff theory it sounds like a far stretched one but given the subtle clues and behavior of Nergal in this episode it just makes me think that he may be Cliff. Hopefully he's not cuz then our saving grace is gone. Id love to hear other people's opinions (though I highly doubt most would answer, but you iust gotta set aside the very terrible assaults and dig for lore
