I really enjoyed the first season. The writing then was focused on their characters and motivations. So even if the MC acted pathetically, I found it genuine to what he wanted: the ML’s love. And the ML, despite being absolute garbage, was interesting too. I even enjoyed the little chasing arc. Season 1 felt like a raw and shameless study of a situationahip disintegrating. Season 2 is where it went completely downhill. Author didn’t know what to do with either of them so it went from character-driven to just trying to meet a checklist of BL plot points: kidnapping? Check. Forced co-habitation? Check. Deal involving sex? Check. Threats from the chaebol ML’s family? Check. Etc. etc.
