Ough yeah,, I would've assumed Varia to be in her mid 20s currently (early 20s at the youngest) considering her graduating schools (which I'd assume is akin to university) and working as a civil servant (presumably for a year or few at least) - and wasn't her sister younger than her? The sister has also been married to Leo's bio dad for a year at least, no? I think it'd make sense the sister is late teens/early 20s as well.
I'm also not sure how different the timeline is now compared to the og novel Leo remembers. Varia's first timeline was the same as the OG, but for this one Leo suddenly appeared, and it's not like that hasn't made changes around the people of the story. Also, usually in regressor stories, the regressor tends to seek out another party almost immediately after regressing (esp if they don't regress to a child's age), and I got the idea that Varia didn't do this but bid her time to gather evidence. It's svy I think it's possible the two would've met earlier in the og story.
At least those are my thoughts on the topic, I do not know for sure. I do hope Varia is around the age I estimated bc it'd make their age gap a lot less relevant/an issue. ╮(￣∇￣")╭
I believe she's mid 20's. When she regressed she was 14 years. Then she started school around 16-18 years. School is probably 2-4 years. The she worked for between 2-3 years. So late 20's

I’m so confused about Varia’s age. I know she regressed, so mentally she’s older than she looks, but Leona mentions multiple times throughout the story that Varia is around 18, especially when she and Phelio first started getting to know each other. After that, though, her age is barely brought up again.
We also know that Phelio is somewhere between 28 and 32, so what exactly is the age gap here? I seriously need answers because, in my head, Varia is like 19, maybe barely 20, while Phelio is already in his 30s. That means this grown man is practically falling for a teenager, and I’m sorry, but it’s giving me the creeps. Somebody help me understand this please
