I don't think there will be cheating at all. The story is pretty much established at this point, not sure the author is about to ruin it with some cheap cheating plot. Next season will likely be about ml continuing his personal journey for independence, coming out to his parents and finally feeling free from their need to control. For the hook/drama, it will be ml thinking being an adult means he shouldn’t rely/burden mc with his struggles, plus keeping some distance thinking he is protecting mc from his parents. MC will start to question if their relationship is stable, if maybe ml is getting bored, etc etc. but trust, they get it resolved like always. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
