bro wtf is going on anymore

Same .. and I don't feel like rereading from the start

I re-read it a lot is still unknown and the small constant hints and flashbacks don’t help. What do we know so far:
- Noah is the prince that survived from the “empire”. His family was attacked (killed?) by the current emperor and he managed to go into hiding with his “uncle” which I assume used to work for his family as Noah’s grandfather showed up asking the uncle about where Noah was.
- Noah doesn’t know who he is, he recently remembered he used to have a family and he recognized a dragon that showed up and left him with his egg - the little dragon that is always with him.
- the sister of Arthur (the prince fake fiancé) was married of to the emperor, “the bad guy”, which I understand is the one that attacked ml’s family and he keeps a dragon in captivity and tries to order him around. This marriage was pushed by the council to the prince and he regrets that decision and is trying to get sister back. That is also the reason he managed to keep the pretense with Lucy, to stabilize the country and try to get his sister back.
-then there is Leo, the redhead brother of Artur, he doesn’t like the council and policies, including selling his sister, so he and a group are a group of masked vigilantes (not yet sure what is the goal there)
- then there is that orange haired guy, not too sure about him yet, he is nobility and rejected being part of the council. He investigates and believes in portals. He also knows somehow the younger brother and that is why he sort of believes Lucy’s from another world
- the long haired guy that tried to help Lucy we still not sure who he is but he is trying to protect Lucy. The dragon which is with him was spooked by Noah when he went swimming to Lucy. He also knows the orange haired old man somehow. We still don’t know how that all ties in.
-about the author, Siena, she is in her own novel but a lot there is unknown and confusing. The og main character Claire was (in the novel) supposed to lose her mother and come live with her aunt which she had exchanged letters often. Siena took her place (a bit how Lucy took Lucia’s) and burned the letters Claire used to sent her aunt, posed as her so Claire would not be able to go there (evil bit**). Apparently Artur used to know Claire as children and in the main story he recognized her. It didn’t happen this time around to her despair as she wanted to live the romance she wrote.
- it all gets a bit confusing there though, apparently she forgot another reality where Artur was actually with Lucy. Also apparently she has a twin sister (Claire?) which makes me think perhaps Lucy and Lucia are sisters as well? Not sure
