i was writing so much to answer your topic bc it got me thinking about how far is too far since anri is a villain first and foremost, but i got too into the plot so i just decided to write my own post LMFAO long story short, i agree is a misogynistic plot point instead of a narrative punishment, since it's related to anri's revenge.
Its good but it has the failing of being misogynistic, like many bls do. Its obvious in how rape was used as a 'punishment', how those two sisters had such an awful ending but the original male leads were allowed to survive and thrive etc
