You can tell by the dialogues that the author was confronting their own mortality. I wish they had more time together, and I hope the MC eventually found a good partner since he's still young. I don't really want to read tragic BLs anymore, but I was tempted to read this one since it's only 2 chapters and I'm glad I did. Mind the tragedy tag. I don't know if the author is still alive, but I wish them well.
