Novel review (+ spoilers)

(*note that I read a bit more than 190 chapters and then skipped to the last chapters, ch.207-208, because I was bored. I have a general idea of what happened in those 15 chapters due to having read the ending but I might be missing some context)
Ok I absolutely loved the premise/manhwa chapters and was so excited to continue the story through the novel, BUT I was honestly very disappointed with a lot of aspects. This is mostly gonna be a rant, sorry about that
First of all: the father-daughter aspect. If the father-daughter trope is the reason you're reading then IT'S NOT WORTH IT, you can even avoid reading the manhwa itself because they have ONE meaningful interaction after 180 freaking chapters (immediately followed by a lazy timeskip), and I found even that to be extremely anti-climatic. He finds out about her identity and he accepts her, but they had no proper conversation about it other than "You're still my daughter". I was like: that's it??? No talk about how much she suffered, about him regretting sealing her (he knows she's innocent but we never get a single monologue about him regretting his actions towards the one he now considers his daughter), nothing about how FL found out she's actually his daughter Daphne and not just the dragon taking over an empty body... nothing, all was brushed off and then we got a random time skip of 5 years to when FL became an adult.
The reason for him and everyone else neglecting Daphne was also so stupid and forced in my opinion: turns out that not only was he under a curse that erased his emotions (and his common sense apparently) but og!Daphne was actually just an empty body (FL was supposed to occupy it and become Daphne but couldn't because the dragons forced her soul into the Disaster's body) with her will being just a 'bundle of curses' from the black mages, and everyone instictively felt disgust towards her because of it. Which means that the shitty behavior of everyone in the story was justied by freaking curses. It has the same energy as the trope of 'ML/family of FL killing her only due to mind control' that I HATE with a passion because at that point FL is supposed to forgive them after everything she's been through and just get over it. Yuck. Well at least FL doesn't have to feel guilty for taking over 'Daphne''s body.
Even after his emotions curse is broken he's still just as emotionally constipated and barely shows any affection towards FL and the other poor love-starved adopted siblings (only stuff like "how dare you treat her like this, she might be a menace but she's still my daughter" or "I consider you all my sons/daughters"). No author I don't buy it, what you showed is BELOW the bare minimum for a parent, he's still a shitty neglectful father.
All in all the only things I really loved until the end were FL as a protagonist and her dynamic with Teiti (the elf) and the ML (the sage). Especially the elf, he's hilarious until the end LMAO, he basically carried half of the story. I usually like harems but I'm glad that he stayed as a platonic friend until the end, their banters are gold. No complaints about ML either, I like him, and although the plot progression sucked I liked that nothing happened between him and FL until the timeskip despite him already being in love with her previous self.
Only one complaint about FL though (more about the author's choices about her decisions): when she says she doesn't kill, she MEANS IT. She doesn't kill anyone for most of the story, even the dragons who made her life hell (who became her lackeys and were reformed and forgiven, wtf) and a lot of black mages, both of whom killed thousands of innocent people for no reason (blaming FL for it). WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!! She only snapped once and killed a few mages that kidnapped and almost killed her brother (and the green and gold dragons, the final villains, also died in the end but still) but apart from that SHE LET EVERYONE LIVE. Everytime something like this happened I just wanted to shut off my phone and give up on reading out of frustration, but I continued because I was curious about the revelations about her identity. I like righteous protagonists, especially those like FL that still have a heart of gold despite living a tragic life, and hide it all behind a fierce front (she reminded me a little bit of Chung Myung from ROTMHS in personality), but letting characters who literally committed mass genocides live, only for the author to make them comedic relief characters, is just idiotic and disrespectful to the fictional innocent humans that have been cruelly murdered, I'm sorry.
I found the plot as a whole to be full of unnecessary filler as well: there are 208 chapters just in the main story, which is well over what is usually the average chapter number of shoujo/josei korean novels, but most of it was occupied by the SO VERY UNNECESSARY and terribly long academy arc and by interactions with secondary characters that we only see like twice and are then almost forgotten. I liked the interactions with her siblings, but I would have rather seen more about FL's relationship with them (and the father, he's so constantly absent I didn't even feel his absence in certain story arcs) than with all these other unimportant characters.
Then after 190 chapters of 70% filler (with 30% being FL + elf and ML working towards their goal and... bonding? More like the bonding between master and slaves LMAO. Well those were really fun, I love their trio) it seemed like the author suddenly realized that the story was being dragged on too much and 1) inserted a random time skip immediately after FL and her father had the first actual conversation, without showing anything else about them bonding, 2) finished everything important in 20 chapters (out of 208?!?), including a forced romantic development that clearly needed to be more gradual.
Sorry for the harsh review, all in all it was relatively good, but the aspects I liked were overshadowed by those I DIDN'T like despite my very high expectations, so understand my disappointment at having paid actual money for it

Other random spoilers you might be interested in:
1) Who is the ML?
The ML is, as I said, the sage. The sage is not human (predictable I know) but the white dragon who was supposedly killed by black mages before the beginning of the story. Turns out his life was saved by the Disaster (FL), which made him fall for her and brought him to help her in the present (together with the guilt about knowing her previous tragic situation and still being a bystander that didn't even try to help her or stop the other dragons).
2) When do people find out about her identity?
Apart from those who already know: the oldest brother finds out in chapter 150, the father has his suspitions but only confirms it in ch.175. Both initially react with doubts about her intentions as the Calamity and with a bit of hostility but eventually (quickly) realize that they love her current self and readily accept her. As for the other sibling I have no idea, they might have found out in the last few chapters that I skipped or somewhere in the side story.
3) A bit about the ending
In the end, from the few chapters (including the side story) I peeked at: the family head position is initially supposed to be inherited by FL, but she refuses and just marries the ML and the position is inherited by the youngest brother. The emperor/gold dragon (who turned out to be the ultimate villain who wanted to dominate the world with no reason at all. Such a waste of such a DIVINE character design) is deposed and from what I understood another family becomes the royal family, not FL's family (they mentioned a 'marriage proposal from the royal family' to FL by the heir of that count who wanted his son to inherit the family instead of Daphne. Don't know how that happened because I skipped those 15 chapters lol
