i think it’s cause the novel is 900 chapters and they probably had to condense a lot of the arcs or leave out details in the lore that would make it feel a lot more continuous? i’m not so sure cause i haven’t read it but that’s just my guess
I just finished binging the whole thing and I can't get over the disconnect I sometimes noticed; it felt like entire chapters (and more) were skipped in between some events, fights or progress just up and vanished and the next chapter has already moved on to the next event. This was especially rampant in the first 80 chapters I feel and I was left connecting the dots in between the storyline ┐('～`;)┌
