Coercion is rape there no difference maybe you're thinking it as different from a violent rape even though all rape is violence
Clearly there’s a difference between them, but I don’t think u get the point where it’s both unwanted sex, which is basically what ppl dont wanna read. By legal terms they’re very much different but only the method. The intent is still exactly the same.
Ur point might be “oh ye u said rape tho but this isn't” which makes sense I get it but I think the one u responded is basically saying that “there’s no point in explaining those since both are basically just the same. Rape is rape so why would u recommend that to me?”
That's a good different point of view, I'd prefer they saying this rather then them making a personal jab at me when all I've been was keep in a respectful boundary of saying that there is a slight difference between the two, now I can understand more on a higher note why they considered it creepy for me to explain, but what I don't appreciate is them making a jab at my personal life,
Besides that, I'm starting to notice that the more non con I read the more my lines get blurred where instead of saying to myself rape is rape I'm starting to figure out what is coercion and rape when reading, I really do like psychological but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy pure romance without toxicity, I think that's where the line blurs for people who read BL
Y'all since when is it creepy to explain the difference between coercion and rape to someone, I do very well in knowing the definition of these words since they are warning signs in BL or any manga,
Curiosity doesn't kill the cat in this sense in knowing what these mean, just like how I didn't know what certain terms mean I would take upon myself to educate myself on it
But recently I tried explaining someone what rape and coercion difference was and they called me creepy for going out of my way to do so, I find it ironic and they pushed the line further and said they pray for my relationship in life, I'm not sure if they did well on that hidden threat but it's crazy how they will tell me that but cannot even try to understand the difference, and it's very pathetic ☠
Well moral of the story am I wrong?
