Idk why everyone is shocked

I dont think anyone is shocked, just disappointed

I think the people who are “shocked” either haven’t read Passion or want so bad for Xinlu to be better than Ilay which that’s not the point of his character or his story. Each couple has a different dynamic and explore different themes . If they want to ignore these parts of Xinlu then they really don’t like the character , they like a character they made up in their heads.

Is funny actually to see people going into the “passion universe” looking for a “good” character when the closest they will get from that is Taeui who is morally gray .
