I read the book and don’t recall that at all. But it was a long time ago
I think you might be confusing it with another story or something, because I read the novel and that's not what happened.
It happened just like here where she decided to stay to save Callisto and because she didn't miss her old life or family enough to leave him behind.
So, I had read some spoilers that in the book she s
choose to go back, scolded her family then callisto went to her wolrd. So this ending is Great but i was expecting like more on the reality side all in all I still love it!!
