Totally spot on, the author think they make some deepshit like Evangelion but they just ended up confusing themselves with all the plotlines.
It does seem like they got a new idea and just ran with it, especially since (by reading a little bit ahead), the characters change a lot, and one plot leads to another and another without a definitive end or explanation. Once you read to like chapter 100 and something the story is something else, because clearer because the author expanded on the story, but the story is different to the beginning (something like that...
This can't be anything else but poor writing like yes we as ppl have deffo dumbed down to the point we can most the time hardly handle complex stories but this one is rlly missing the mark.
It feels like just when U start understanding things a new curve ball gets thrown at U and it becomes very confusing.
I wish the author had just made this a little more linear or clear because rn there are way tooo many spirits/souls/demons/Ur mum and whatever fucking else this author has added to the plot thats rlly muddling ppls understandings and trying to actually enjoy the story.
Feels like I'm stuck in fucking maths class or some shit with the way we ping ponging the plot.
