I feel like it makes more sense for his character to have both of those characteristics as they both tie back to his stunted social development from being locked in that place for so many years. In the beginning he’s guarded and sarcastic/unserious to hold his own ego and protect himself from the feeling of disappointment since so many before the MC have had the job and simply did what needed to be done and left. Now that he is vulnerable and comfortable with the MC he can’t help but cling onto the one person who’s actually pulled him from his shitty reality and taught him to be a person. His immature behavior is also going to greatly increase because he’s completely wasted and it was his first time ever having alcohol. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
I don’t like how the blonde went from this
Intimidating and teasing guy to a child like personality now.. threw me off. I liked the dynamic in the beginning. Made it more interesting imo. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
