I’m in need of some positivity

Tell me your favorite manga/manwha/manhua on this site (or not on this site idc) and tell me why it’s your favorite. No judgement, just pure optimism.

    The boxer is genuinely really good. It’s one of the only manhwas that I still think about years after reading it. I originally watched it when it came onto webtoon. The other works done by the author are also really good but they are heartbreaking

    Oh dude I have a fair few, but I’ll only give you like 3. In no particular order;

    Genuinely changed my life, any of this mangaka’s work are amazing but this one just…the characters dynamic, the struggles of the main character and the way the love interest showing him genuine kindness helps him stand up again…amazing no notes

    The art is GORGEOUS, and every character is unique and interesting. The biggest draw for me is the lore, be that character backstories or world building. Great comic

    A dynamic I love and an incredible take on the effects religion has on power gaps between the rich and poor (and MORE, because religion can effect a bunch if you but your mind to it in creative ways)? In beautiful black and white?? It’s on going but I can’t wait to see where the story goes.

    Houseki no Kuni. It's so beautiful, and it has some extremely dark elements that add so much depth. The character development is quite interesting as well, especially with the main character. It's got a lot of those love-hate-love-hate character relationships with the reader as well. I have to say, it's somewhat formed the person I am today tbh.

    Also this could also be considered my favorite because of how much joy it gives me. It’s the funniest manhwa I’ve ever read. Honestly probably the funniest thing I’ve ever read. Even when I reread it and I know when the joke is coming, I still laugh my ass off. https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/i_stole_the_male_lead_s_first_night/

    Paljae, Child of Winter. It's a manhwa and it's historical and has korean mythological stuff, heavens, humans, ascendants, demons.
    Summary:
    It's more than just coincidence.
    Young Paljae drifts to the isle at world's end to be taken in by Munryeong, a hermit with a mysterious past. But when Paljae begins to waste away in the sun-bathed climate, Munryeong takes his little companion on a journey to the cold north that uncovers their forgotten past encounter.
    (It's my fav manhwa, it's honestly so well written and has amazing art, the characters and the story is complex and it's plot based,)
