I think this would be better with less smut and more talk. I mean, it feels like there solution to drifting apart is just having a steamy night and living together. And yes it's harder to drift apart when you see each other more but they are already far apart from each other. On a level one night couldn't fix... It seems to me like a first story of someone because it doesn't show so much of their feelings, it tells more.
