The story was so beautifully tragic. This story is very definition of obsession and devotion. And it showed both the negative and positive side of these things. It was so dark and it didn't shy away with all the triggering factors and the effects it had on people. I didn't think I would love it so much. It has easily become my top 5 favorite stories. The romance was soooo good. Yearning Romance is the best romance and it proved it. Now on to story and characters:
FL - I loved her so much. The way she was groomed and abused was painful to read. She wasn't a person. She a broken doll. And the author portrayed it soo beautifully and I love how it wasn't romanticized. It showed what this years of abuse and grooming did to her and how at the end she was completely broken beyond repair. In the 1st life she was shell of a person without any soul tbh. And the way she raised from that situation and became a strong character was so beautiful. I loved how like all the other regressed manhwas she didn't jump onto revenge. Heck she didn't even want revenge. She just wanted to heal herself and live for her own for once. And I loved that about her.
ML - the ultimate yearner. What can I say about him. I fell in love with his love and yearning. I think he is easily one of best mls out there. He helped the FL to become her to love herself and then waited patiently to be loved by her.
Villain - tbh I didn't actually hate him. I know he did horrific things but his character was so interesting that I couldn't hate him. I was absolutely terrified of him but his character was a very well done antagonist. He was dark eerie, obsessed but he was one of kind I would say. And devil's advocate here but I do think he loved the FL in his own twisted sadistic way.
And all the side characters were also very well done. I absolutely loved Dahlia, Vestia, Esthel (my poor baby) and last but certainly not least the loneliest of all Enoch.
I deducted 0.5 points because of the ending for Enoch's story. That was weird and unnecessary. So yeah if that didn't show it would have been a 100/10 story for me.
