Yes and no? Aeroc suffer like he did in TL1. If anything, it’s Kloff who suffers the most being unable to be with the Aeroc from TL1 and having the memory of what he did to him while being with the now unaware and innocent Aeroc. Kloff does kinda go nuts tho and ends up hurting Aeroc, but not to the extent at TL 1 without saying too much.

i've read the novel and personally i think the saddest timeline will always be the first. this third timeline didn't hurt as much but it is a little sad for kloff although he deserves it.

if i remember correctly he will commit in this timeline by shooting himself but it barely missed on his head i think? cos he misses the aeroc from the first timeline. although he has aeroc in this timeline now, it's not the aeroc he wanted in the first so he's filled with agony. they still end up together though with kloff being basically disable i think and filed with longing for the first aeroc. aeroc in this timeline does love him though and kept him. it's pretty fucked up.
all in all, the second timeline is the best i could say.
Arrrg this is still so sad.
