Honestly I think it sadly might just be bad writing :/ normally it is more explainable but the reasoning ‘he had never betrayed me first just done things I didn’t like (like repeatedly rape and torture me)’ is peak stupid. And Basti constantly going for a guy that gets internal bleeding when he’s too rough, oof. Feels like quality stupid.
Exactly. It's definitely terrible writing. I just wonder why so many characters are like this and how all of these authors come up with such nonsensical thought processes
