They're at an age where they're choosing between college, vocational school, or getting a job right away, looking towards their future. That was not an age or situation where it can be dismissed as a "kid's joke."
Even before your secondary gender was revealed, Hyeondo kept expressing his feelings, but no matter how much he tried to care, support or protect you, no matter what he did or said, you didn't believe him, and you're the one who drove him into a situation where he had no choice but to cling to the promise. In the first place, it's totally unbelievable that someone who would give a secretary position—where that could harm the company at any time—to an ALPHA from a ENEMY company which kidnapped ML and tried to burn him alive, and continue to place such inexplicable trust in that ALPHA, could have even been CEO. It just goes to show how spoiled you've 'practically' been by your father's power.
"HATING ALL ALPHAS", "being a COMPETENT CEO"... his words and actions from the very beginning of the story are completely inconsistent with his character setting. I can't believe there's someone who didn't hesitate to create such a messy trash MC. Needless to say I've felt extremely sorry for ML that I wish I could erase my memories of it, more than I've ever felt for anyone in BL history, but at this point I even feel so sorry for MC. For having to be involved with the worst terrible author ever. And the biggest fool of all is me wasting so much time and energy on something like THIS... lol Seriously, I really need to stop.
