My memory sucks ass but usually I’ll get a deja vu kind of feeling that clues me in if I’ve read something before. Not this one. They started talking about ML’s mom and I was like “omg she’s a teacher isn’t she, I read this before” and I was right. So in short this story is totally forgettable. It’s not bad at all, just nothing special at all. Nothing that will stick in the back of your mind long term, apparently.
