She’s not naive - she’s traumatized and heavily falls into fawning behavior. She is fully aware of what could happen and she tries to circumvent it by being what ML wanted her to be (during marriage). She grew up heavily abused, this is the way she’s survived. You can see that her mental health isn’t great (she has obsessive tendencies post interrogation) and very little self esteem. She’s only just starting to develop a sense of self. her naivety is so frustrating and him? he's a typical jerk of an ml who's whole personality is shape for the plot. his only redeeming quality is his face and power, it makes you think if the author's really going for a naive or materialistic fl
