She is a traitor. Mr. Jang asked her to report on Yeowon's activities, and so she did. When Yeowon escaped, the girl didn't actually help her, the car Yeowon was supposed to get into belonged to Mr. Jang (luckily, Yeowon didn't trust the girl and escaped with her uncle instead)

And the funny thing is that's probably the only smart thing about him in the whole manhwa, author-nim just made him ridiculously trusting of the male lead for NO reason
