    i assume kloff didnt know it wasnt his baby?? plz someone correct me if im wrong (just to be clear im not justifying anything of the cruel shit kloff did to aeroc, he did NOT deserve such violent revenge even tho he wasnt a saint either)

    Yeah, it was literally for no reason. In the novel, it's made clear that Kloff didn't actually love Rapiel (he simply thought Rapiel was nice to settle down with) but that he deeply loved "their child" which is why he went insane with grieve after "his child" died. It was all just one massive misunderstanding.
