Would have been a perfect time to teach her that dominance in the masculine (ie alpha) is expected, required, reinforced, and praised whilst dominance in the feminine (ie omega) is unfortunately view by many as a threat, overbearing, undesirable, and denigrated.
It’s really unfair and stupid but it is how our world and it seems this fictional world simply is.
