imo this kind of plot is common in manhwas, but what i like about it a lot would be how the author created the characters, to the point that it weirds me out cuz they seem, idk, realistic?? for example, the mc is very relatable in a way that ppl can be airheads and oblivious w everything around them, to the point that it seems so dumb in a reader's perspective. cuz, we can see ahead of everything, but irl we're put in situations where everything's so obvious but we fail to realize shit yk. also, the ml seems really scary, as what other commenters have mentioned, because of the fact that REAL PPL DO BE LIKE THAT the possessiveness and even the downright stalking behaviour of ppl in relationships. even in a committed relationship, u cant help but feel anxious. ig this behavior of his stems from his mom and caused a lot of trauma for him to act out this way. im not romanticizing either of their behaviors or normalizing it, but as i was reading this, i felt so intrigued and uneasy as to how realistic they felt compared to other characters. its somewhat refreshing to see this kind of trope, which is different from the usual toxic + r*pe bl manhwa plotlines, where it shows real life relationship situations with lapses from both sides, as well as distinct flaws in characters but not to the point where shit like r*pe or any cheating happens.
