No yesss like I agree…. the fact that he went to Thailand just to see if he could become a woman as a form of obtaining these human, yet queer, desires that a heteronormative society represses, and left when he found out he couldn’t become pregnant genuinely broke my heart like my Shayla…..
i wonder if miki really wanted kids genuinenly and not that he was scared of not following social norms to be normal or he tried to satisfy ml since he thought ml wasn’t acting but really wanted to live “normal” life. is it “why despite wanting just as them i can’t have my own family, carry my own blood?” or “why i can’t give my loved one a some part of me just like the others do it?” it’s both that trying to fit normalcy but I couldn't figure out exactly who the subject was of the complaint
