People who try to defend or excuse MC by saying he didn't 'cheat' are just latching onto technicalities. Even if you can claim he didn't cheat in a strict sense, relationships aren't based on technicalities, they're based on emotions. Emotionally, what he did was low and I don't think he even deserved a second chance. Which makes me wonder if people who defend his behavior would be really OK with what happened if they were in the same situation as ML. Because I don't think that anyone who wants to built a normal relationship with trust could just get over this kind of betrayal.
