I agree. jeongyoon is not blind about his partner's ways and Cha Heon is not actually harming him in any way. He lied about the family to give him peace of mind (clearly he didn't need to or should do it but it still comes from a place of love) and supports him and even lets him freely see his friends despite how jealous he is of everyone. (●'◡'●)ﾉ I also liked this a lot.
for me this isn't a story where i just turn my brain off to have some fun reading, which says a lot bcz im someone who reads bls purely for the fictional aspects.
ik chaheon isn't exactly a green flag, ik he can be really exhausting and weirdly possessive. but here's the thing: jeongyoon accepts him the way he is. irl relationships aren't all sunshine and rainbows, they are bound to have issues and hurdles. very few couples exist where both party is completely sane.
now ppl may say that jeongyoon is dumb or too naive. while i do agree that he is indeed a little blind in love, but that's not necessarily harmful for him. jeongyoon grew up in a healthy, non-toxic environment with loving parents and siblings and he has really good friends. he is extremely doted on by everyone around him. ppl like jeongyoon don't readily accept abusive/red flag behaviors in romantic relationships, bcz they know what its like to be actually loved.
chaheon, on the other hand, does not.
which clearly explains his odd behaviors. despite the contrasts, their relationship is happy and thriving bcz at the end of the day, they love each the right way.
so yeah. no matter how anyone else sees it, i think their relationship is really beautiful and realistic. and yes i love chaheon too, bcz im someone just like jeongyoon.
