while I agree the mc has his issues, I feel like you're forgetting how the ml was treating him before finding out he has no memory of theor night together, as well as how he never even considered that the drunk guy he slept with could actually not remember things? or consent? or how he literally got interested in him BECAUSE mc wasn't interested in him? like, he does admit it in a stupid way, but it is true, he kept staring after him because mc was completely not staring at him. I'm not gonna complain about him being overly pushy and not taking the rejection, because mc is actively trying to push him away from his own child (forgetting that he's interested in mc as well) without ever considering that maybe he's a normal human who wants to be in their child's life. IDK, it feels like mc's issues come from need to protect himself, while ml's just come from him being spoiled and arrogant.
weirdly enough this is one of the few stories where the mc is showing more red flag traits than the ml...mostly reading this for the cute ml now...
