Someone please explain to me the last scene (like i'm six years old) ╥﹏╥

This is just my guess - Mehen took Arel, and then hit her Dad/his hubby, and those were the red streaks, and what she meant by he passed out, in other words Mehen knocked him out…..please correct me if I got this wrong
