I loved the Restart works by this author so wanted to read other works by them but apparently that meant I signed up more tears lol. I don't know if this relationship can be called toxic, more like when you don't speak up cause you're worried to hurt people but the resentment builds up inside and one day you burst, they've severe lack of communication and effort too, just because you're with someone for years who accepts you as you're doesn't mean one should take it for granted. I hope they'll do better after this, I love a good reunion trope after years but a not being able to let go in the first place can be well written too without making it stalkerish and manipulative, this is an example of that.
