Be careful, you are speaking about some common sense and some logic. It doesn't apply all times and people have different opinions about these topics.
For me she did what she had to do. But the issue is that the story is created for her to end up with the killer... Which makes me less interested xD
I would love to see a different male lead but all the story points at the killer.

i'm genuinely losing my mind reading these comments. people are actually mad at the FL for running away because she refused to spend the rest of her life as a slave to a man whose entire identity was built on lies.
the guy is completely unpredictable.
but APPARENTLY, because he didn't rape her or beat her, she was supposed to keep her mouth shut, smile, pretend everything was fine, and obediently sleep with a man she was terrified of?
do you people seriously think women won their freedom overnight? they didn't. it happened because women decided they'd rather risk their lives than keep living under a man's control.
and the whole "maybe he killed people... but you didn't even know the victims!" argument is ridiculous. i didn't personally know the victims of serial killers either to know those men were dangerous as hell and deserved to rot.
