so the rituals cannot target specific memories to wipe? or did the priest start releasing nain from the cloudiness so he can regain his memories? or was that blood just the end of the ritual that allows nain to wake up (and did the priest cut the ritual short so nain still remembers being injured and the people's guilt + all the punshiment afterwards?)
also if everyone knows nain is going through a ritual and won't remember things clearly, why are they constantly addressing the issue that triggered the ritual? i dont get it
Doesn't it seem like from one of his dreams that he comes back to life after being murdered? What if the ritual is actually that, and the smoke takes the traumatic memories away, or at least the last few hours of it.
