The author should've made the percentage smaller. They talk about omegas like they're cryptids, meanwhile they're 10% of the population! That's a lot! In a classroom of 30 people that's 3 omegas for every classroom.
But like we saw with the boss it's better if you hide it, even the boss said there are many omegas it's just that people don't notice Rainy
That's why I gave the classroom example. 1% would still be a LOT, but it'd be more reasonable for people to believe they'd never met an omega before. This is just fully a statistics fumble on the author's part
